At one of our many follow-up visits to First Watch while in Kentucky, I made sure to snap a photo of the menu, which basically gave away all the ingredients, so this is my version!īe sure to try this beverage along with Black Bean Fiesta Eggs! With no First Watch in our area, I’ve been craving this juice again, so I wanted to try creating my own version. It was love for this drink as well! Stirring the layers of juice together is recommended, especially if you’re not crazy about beet flavor, but I didn’t mind sipping it separately. It’s safe to say that as an adult not forced to eat them nearly daily, I’m currently on team love, so I gave the drink a try! I teeter tottered between loving and hating them. Growing up, Abuela used to feed us canned beets ALL the time. One of the first things that caught my eye, was a drink called “Morning Meditation.” It’s made with orange and beet juice, and came highly recommended by our server. I was also pretty excited about the menu.

We took to Yelp and found this place that seemed perfect for the entire family.įirst, I was blown away by how cute this restaurant was! The decor was kinda farm-housey, kinda rustic. We were heading out to drop John’s mom off at the airport, but wanted to grab brunch on the way.
It wasn’t until nearly a year ago, that I discovered First Watch–a breakfast cafe–for the first time. With these groceries on hand, I was able to get this First Watch-inspired morning sunrise juice made as I embarked on a day of batch shooting blog recipes! As part of our most recent delivery, I got orange juice and local honey to hopefully help out with John’s allergies. Among them are: milk (obviously), juices, breads, produce, and even honey. As of recently, Fridays are milkman day! Our milkman, has a HUGE variety of groceries that he delivers weekly.
